CALL FOR TUTORIALS
Call for Tutorials:
DASFAA 2010 Tutorial is to offer conference attendees and local participants motivative and informative topics in database & Web technology and related issues. Tutorials whose audience is broader than the database research community are encouraged. Proposals must be no more than 5 pages and must provide a sense of both the scope of the tutorial and depth within the scope. Proposals on any other topics expected to be of special interest and relevance at the time of DASFAA 2010 are also encouraged. The intended length of the tutorial (1.5 or 3 hours) should also be indicated, together with justification that a high-quality presentation will be achieved within the chosen time period and the indication of the main learning outcomes. If the proposed tutorial has been given previously, the proposal should include where the tutorial has been given and how it will be modified for DASFAA 2010.
Proposals must be submitted electronically by September 22, 2009, via email to tutorial co-chairs (dasfaa2010tutorial[at]shse.u-hyogo.ac.jp). The tutorial summary will be published as ONE page on proceedings and the tutorial presentations made available from the Web electronically.
Each Tutorial proposal should include the following information:
- tutorial title
- name and contact information such as email, address, telephone number, and FAX number
- a brief bio of the presenters

The decision about acceptance/rejection of Tutorial proposals will be made by the Tutorial Co-Chairs.
